My Question or Issue

My wife stablished a spotify family plan and I cannot accept it because it says we do not live together.

It's possible that the reason is I use a VPN to work which is in a different city.

However when I deactivate the VPN I can still not join the family plan.

Hey @Minipiman,

 

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community. 

 

First off, we'd recommend that you make sure that the country set on your account matches the one on your wife's account (since she's the plan owner). Your can double check that on your account page. Keep in mind that Premium Family  is a discounted plan for people, who live together at the same address. If you live together - you should be able to join the plan. 

 

As you mentioned the issue could also be caused by VPN or private tunnel, since those re-route network traffic. With that being said, we'd suggest that you ask your wife to send you the invitation link again, but this time - accept it on another device with no active VPN services. Please make sure that you're typing the address correctly.


Tip: We usually advise using an incognito window when accepting the invite as it doesn't keep that info saved.

Thanks for your quick reply.
Unfortunately, the link you gave me says at the end I have to wait 12 months before joining a family now.

Is this correct?

Tengo plan familiar quiero integrar a un familiar ingreso direecion y me dice que no corresponde ni lo entiendo porque no me deja

 Buenas noches..! Recibo la invitación (un link), de mi papá para formar parte de la suscripción familiar pero sin embargo me dar un mensaje de error que hace mención de que la PÁGINA NO EXISTE. Cómo debería proceder para solucionar ese problema? Espero pronto retorno. Gracias desde ya.
