Can't change my country

Can't change my country

Hello, I changed my spotify subscription to a family subscription. However, my family members can't join my plan since my account is a US account. The page describing how to change my country is outdated. How can I change my account from a US account to a Canadian account?

Hey there @alivira,

 

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community!

 

If you'd like to update the country registered in your Spotify account, you'll first need to cancel your subscription

 

Once your account reverts back to the free, ad-supported service at the end of your current billing cycle, you can follow the steps below to update your country:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Click EDIT PROFILE
  3. Scroll down to Country and select your new country from the dropdown list.
    Note: Your new country only shows when you’re actually there.
  4. Click SAVE PROFILE.

After that, you should be able to resubscribe to Premium for Family and invite your family members to your plan.
