Checking/changing home address

My Question or Issue

Hi, trying unsuccessfully to join Premium Family via a link sent from my wife's account. I need to check the address linked to MY free account, but this appears to be impossible. Why? What am I doing wrong?

Hello @tmcmurray!

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. I'll try to help.

You should be able to change and check the address you set to verify your Family plan by clicking the green button on this Support article. Just make sure you're logged into the plan manager's account. You can also find more info about verifying your address in the article.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi, @alex030911,

Thanks for joining the thread!

I'd recommend trying again by using another browser or device, if available. It's also worth checking if switching to a different Wi-Fi network or mobile data helps.

In case you're using a VPN, try disabling it. Make sure the page is not being blocked by your firewall settings either.

If you run into a "your addresses don't match" error, check out the steps from the Status Update here for more info on how to proceed.

Hope this helps! Cheers 🤘

Hi Yordan, I've got this same issue - I've tried a different browser and I'm not using a VPN. I switched plans over a year ago so that also shouldn't be the problem and it just keeps coming up with the same message (There was a problem. Please try again later.)

I've tried multiple times and am not really sure what to do next.

Hey @Vodders,

Thanks for joining the thread and for sharing what you've tried so far.

It's worth mentioning that the provided link from the support article in @Jose_M's post won't work in case you're trying to open it by being logged in to an account that is on a different Premium subscription from Family.

I advise that you check your current subscription from the Account Page and if you're on Premium Duo instead and need to check/edit your address, then you can open the green link in this article which should work in this case.

Hope this helps and keep us posted 🙂
