Error redeeming Google home mini giveaway

Hi, 

I have been trying for the last two weeks to redeem my Google home mini, which is currently offered as a free gift with the Spotify family subscription. For some reasons, my offer code didn't work and Google cancelled my order. Now Spotify claims that they can't renew my code or provide me with a new code because they can only offer one per customer. I have tried contacting both Google and Spotify to rectify the issue but to no avail. 

Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone advise on whom I can speak to?

I can't be the only one this has happened to?!

I tried redeeming it for the past 2 weeks as well.

I was just talking with one of the reps from Spotify but google home mini is officially all out of stock in Canada.

"Due to limited supply, the Google Home Mini offer is no longer available in Canada."

I have literally just had the exact same scenario occur, also in the UK. 

Google have directed me back to Spotify, as likewise, I had a cancellation ankowledgement once I had placed my order and used the promotion code.

Sorry I cannot help but am also eager to hear if this scenario has been resolved for anyone else?
