My Question or Issue

 

My stored credit card expired, I lost premium and my family members lost access.

I updated to the new credit card details.  I got back my premium membership, but my family members did not get it automatically. 

I sent out the invitations again, but they cannot connect because Spotify thinks that they are not in the same country as I am.  The address is the very same and looked up and validated by Google in the same way on the Spotify page.

 

The fact that Spotify complains about the country made me think that perhaps it's a problem with the country of the credit card which is not the same as my home address.  This never used to be a problem before though.

 

Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out.

 

If you live in France and would like to use Premium Family, you'll unfortunately also need a payment method that's been issued there. Issues like the one you're experiencing right now can happen when using a payment method from a different country 🙂

 

You can update your payment method here. Once you've done that, your account's country setting will update on your next billing date and your members should be able to join then.
