Help retrieving address information

Help retrieving address information

I can invite people phisically living in the same address that me to the Premium plan since I can't recall the exact details that they need to input on the address fields. I've tried what I can remember but nothing is working.

Can you help me retrieving the exact address information? I have seen on the FAQ that I'd need to cancel my current account and create a new one from scratch to enter the address information but that recommendation is seriously ridiculous, specially since the problem is that I can't remember the exact details I entered a long time ago.

Hey @fturizo,

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to view the address registered on an existing Premium for Family subscription.

If you forgot your details, you need to create a new account and subscribe to Premium for Family on that account. Don’t forget to cancel the subscription on your old account 🙂

@Maxim
"you need to create a new account and subscribe to Premium for Family on that account. Don’t forget to cancel the subscription on your old account" Would you please specify the steps required to do this? When I cancel my current Family Plan and Premium subscription, I'm left with a free account which I don't know how to "cancel".

You can close your Free account at https://support.spotify.com/close-account. 🙂

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

@Maxim, It is truly baflling that in 2017 an online service has to offer such a ridiculous solution just to simply modify an address field. If I drop my current account and create a new one, I'd lost all my listening history, all of my playlists and the miriads of information I had fed Spotify to get it to understand what I like and what I don't. Do you think such an answer is valid? If Spotify doesn't want its customers to use their Premium Family plan, then this is a clear indicator on it. I have no idea why would they do that instead or at least offering me a form to correctly request the information to be changed or something.

Well, congratulations. You have lost a customer due to such an insanely stupid recommendation.
