How do I reset the parent pin on my Spotify android app?

I have a Premium family account, and recently created a Managed Plan for my son. At some point, I've switched into his account on my phone, but now cannot switch it back as I get asked for a pin, which I do not know or remember. How can I reset this pin so I can get back into my own account?

Thanks for your post. You can follow the link in my last reply for information related to using Spotify Kids. The settings apply to both iOS and Android devices.

I have the same problem as the original poster, but cannot see that the link suggested holds the solution. It is not a Kids account, but a managed account för the proper Spotify app, even though the user is a kid. 

I need a "reset PIN" type of solution. 

Any ideas?

Thanks for your post in this thread. You’re able to manage this setting through the Spotify app following these steps > Control managed account settings > Change your PIN.

I'm currently on my kids profile and when I try to switch to my own, I can't remember the pin code. 

According to your link there should be a "reset pin" somewhere, but it doesn't show. I only see a 4-digit field for the pin. 

I'm on Android with the Spotify app, but have also tried looking around in the settings from a PC /Web browser.

I think I know what's going on here - could it be that you're looking at a managed account?
If this is so, you should be able to reset the PIN by following these steps:

1. Go to Settings and privacy > Account > Premium Family to get to the Plan Overview page.
2. In Plan members, scroll down and tap “Change your pin”.
3. Enter the new PIN and tap Save.

The problem was, that it was my mobile app which I had switched to my childs managed account and could'nt get back.

Is there a way to reset the pin from My PC/a web browser.

I ended up erasing all of the app data for the spotify app, effectively resetting the app and logged into my own account. 

(and now I have reset the pin from the app exactly as you described)
