Joining Family Account - what happens to my playlists?

Joining Family Account - what happens to my playlists?

Hi, my wife and I have separate premium accounts and realize we should create a family account. If she creates the family account, and I accept her invitation to join the family account, do I lose my playlists? Or does my account, playlists and all, just become part of her new family account?

Thanks!

Hey @peprosenfeld,

when you join the Family Plan of your wife, all you Playlist, saved songs etc. will stay on your account. There will be no difference to the normal Premium.

Have a nice day!

My daughter created a playlist for me when were travelling in the cartogther  how do i get that playlist into my account now that she has upgraded to a have a family account and get those playlists into my account so i can treat themlike my own playlist?

Hey @John888,

your daughter can make the playlist collaborative and then share it with you.

When the playlist is made collaborative you can add songs to the playlist too.

You can find a tutorial on how to make a playlist collaborative here and in the picture below.

Thanks. If she deletes it will mine disappear too? Or if once received i stop or she stops the collaboration will i loose it?So does she always have admin rights over that play list ?

Hey again @John888,

If your daughter deletes or adds songs to the playlist they will disappear/ appear for you too and the one that created the playlist will always have the "admin rights" to it.

But you can also copy the playlist you want to have and then add/ remove songs like you want to.

You can find a short tutorioal here.

Have a nice day!
