Kicked off of my family premium

Kicked off of my family premium

So me and my family have a premium family thing, and half of my family lives in one house and the rest in the other, so when I was signing up I put the address I live at. Now, a month after I joined the family premium account, i have been stripped of my premium benefits and I'm back to being a free user. I have no idea what is going on. I just want my premium back what happened here exactly? I think it has something to do with my families different address situation, but idk. I can assure we are a family, so why don't I get the spotify premium benefits? Why did I get kicked off my family premium thing?

Hey @Cornycash,

 

All members of a Premium for Family plan must reside at the same physical address. 

 

If Spotify is unable to verify the members of a Premium for Family plan, they are removed from the plan. 

 

If this happens, you may restore your Premium features by upgrading to a standalone Premium subscription. Or check out the other trials and offers

How can I change my address then? Whenever I go to spotify.com the only option is to change my ZIP code. Also if that was the case why was I able to use premium for a month? This makes no sense

I believe that you were able to use Premium for one month because Spotify doesn't do address checks every day, they only do that every few weeks or so.

 

Why would you like to change your address? You won't be able to join that Premium for Family plan again if you don't reside at the same physical address.
