Manage Members not working (Family plan)

Manage Members not working (Family plan)

Hello everyone,

I'd like to add someone to my family plan but when I open the "Manage Members" section the option to add someone does not show up. Could anyone give me a hand please? Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out.

 

If you're not seeing the option to add a new member to the Premium Family plan, it either means you've ran out of free slots (you can invite up to 5 users) or your account (or the account you're currently logged into) is not the one managing and paying for the plan. 

 

We'd suggest double-checking your login credentials, the email address registered in your account and your subscription status. The manager's account should show when the next payment is due in the last page that we've linked.

I have a premium family Spotify account, with me my wife and daughter currently listed as members. I want to add my son but I am not being given an option to add a new member and cannot find a way to add him into the account.

Im not able to add anyone else either!!

I was about to add 2 members but after I added a 3rd member who delayed accepting the invitation, I get an error message every time I click the link to add someone in the manager page with a stupidly cheerful suggestion to try again. Trying again does the same thing. Extremely frustrating.

This sounds like a temporary technical issue. Do you have another device which you can use to see if that works? For example, if you're trying to invite others from your phone, try from your PC instead. You can also test:

  • with another Wi-Fi network / cellular data
  • with another browser
