Hi!
Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us!

First, try to accept the plan invitation through another device or using the incognito mode of your browser. Make sure the Location access is allowed on that device. Keep in mind the Family Premium is just for people who live at the same address, alright?

Stay awesome!

If you have further questions or if you need anything else, let me know! I'd love to help!

Regards,
Luan

Hey there,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

The first thing I recommend making sure is that the country setting on the account that is trying to join matches yours. You can find some info on how to update it here.

You can also ask them to give it a try in a different browser, on a different devide, while using a different internet connection or in an incognito browser window.

If the issue persists, please post a screenshot of the error message 🙂

It doesn't work, i tried incognito, used another browser, and yes, it is in the same address, and actually it doesn't reach the page to fill in address.

Please help!

Hey again, @fh-4676,

As already mentioned in my previous post:

If the issue persists, please post a screenshot of the error message.

Thanks. 🙂

Hey @fh-4676,

Thanks for the screenshot.

I definitely recommend checking if your account's country setting matches the country you're currently in. The user who is trying to join also must have that same country set within their account. 🙂

In addition to that, can you please check that double-check the saved address for the plan is correct? For example, if your country setting is set to the United States, the address saved for the plan must also be in the United States.

You can check the country setting of an account here and the plan address here.

Let me know how it goes! 🙂

It is the same country, i've already changed the account country to match. Everything is matched but still doesn't work.

Hey again, @fh-4676,

Thanks for letting me know.

Can you please check how many members are part of your plan? The error message could also be appearing because the user who's trying to join is already part of your plan, so I recommend checking that as well 🙂

Hey @fh-4676,

Thanks for checking.

Can you please ask the person who is trying to join to head to this page? Which plan does it show there? 🙂

have this problem for 2-3 day

I have a family member. I saw new similar topics that have not been resolved
I have the same problem.
I will explain:
First, I deleted a member, then I wanted to add a member (my father's new account) when he got this message
"You cant join this plan"

check video

Plan

Premium for Family

Country

india

I can't complete 5 members. After I deleted a member.

I created an account for my uncle. But I could not join it gives the following error 'you cant join this plan'

But now I have four accounts

Account regions are India. It has nothing to do with the address.

Before asking for an address in the invitation link, it gives this error Is there a rule about the number of times members can join and delete members?

Hi! I'm experiencing the same issue. I can't add members anymore. Everything was working fine before—I could add or remove members without any problems. Now, no matter if it's a new Spotify ID or one that's 1-2 years old, I can't add anyone. Nothing seems to fix this. I've attached a screenshot of the error. It's worth noting that support hasn't found any issues—they just keep suggesting I change my plan for the account I'm inviting. I still have available slots on my family plan, so why should I have to switch plans for my family members?
