Premium For Family & Mobile Devices

Premium For Family & Mobile Devices

I am a premium for family subscriber and have three family members enrolled.  I have been frequently running into an issue when using my spotify account on my mobile device.  When I'm using spotify on my mobile device it frequently stops playing with a message that my account is in use somewhere else.  My account is linked to our Sonos system in our house as well.

 

My questions...

1. What are the rules about using my account on my mobile device vs. in our home?

2. Can I create two seperate accounts on our family subscription, one for home and one for mobile?

3. Any other ideas on what might be causing this?

Hey @runnermusic_bv,

 

I'd recommend creating a seperate account for your Sonos so that you are not being interrupted when using Spotify outside of your home on your mobile device. 🙂

 

You can then invite this account to the Premium for Family plan as well (if you still have a free slot).
