Spotify Kids favorites-songs keep disappearing

My Question or Issue

I pay for the family plan so that my kids can listen to music with a little independence and my account preferences don't get thrown off by their songs. However, my son had a long list of songs that he had "liked" in his favorites Playlist and about 2 weeks ago they were all gone. He was really upset but he started collecting more songs in his favorites again and then a couple days later they disappeared too. It happens about every other day now. It's really frustrating. Does anyone know what's going on?

Could you check if the Kids app is set as an exception in the battery/memory optimization settings on the device the app is on? Here is a collection of steps for different manufacturers.

Within the last week or so, my son says his favourites list in spotify kids has deleted everything he's added over the last 2 years.

He's very upset about losing his music.

Is there a way to restore his favourites list or another way of finding the songs that have gone missing?

I have had similar issues to Kmc916. I've checked the settings as you suggested and they were set to optimise power usage. I've changed all settings now, so that battery/memory optimisation should not happen any more.

Is there any way of restoring the favourites list?

Thank you for your message.

Taking into account that Kids profiles are only virtual profiles, they don't function the same as a regular Spotify account. As there's no sign up for those, if the information is deleted, it cannot be recovered due to its virtual nature unfortunately.
