Switching to Family with month of Individual remaining

Hello, I have my individual plan paid for 6 more months, that is, until December. If I upgrade it to the family plan, will I lose what I already paid? Or would I have the "balance" in my favor?

Thanks for reaching out. We moved your post to be its own thread, since it differed a bit from the core topic of the original thread.

When you have remaining Premium Individual time and want to switch to Family, you can do so right away. You won't be charged again and partial refunds aren't possible. Instead, the remaining time will be shortened somewhat to compensate for the difference in price and the expiry date will be adjusted accordingly. After this remaining time expires, you will be charged normally for the Family plan and will continue to be billed for it monthly after that.
