Two accounts

After I upgraded my spotify account from my iPad, I realized that my I actually have two accounts. I wold like to merge the two accounts so that I don't loose music and playlists. I followed the directions for doing so, but they account on my computer still shows a free. Is there a way to merge the two so that they both show as premium?
