Unable to add family member to Premium Family Account - keeps saying addresses don't match

Unable to add family member to Premium Family Account - keeps saying addresses don't match

I've spent collectively over 3 hours trying to add my daughter to our Premium Family Account - but no matter what I do (and I've tried all the suggestions listed on this forum so far) it still says our addresses don't match.

Yes, both accounts are registered to the same country (India). It is just that whenever I put in our address into my daughter's Spotify account (via the invite prompt field "Enter the address for your plan) it refuses to accept the correct address (as show on MY SPOTIFY account) and instead only suggests an address that is similar but adds an erroneous extra element to the address ("Block 19" - whatever that is) and therefore refuses to find our home address which is REGISTERED WITH Spotify. So frustrating. I didn't have this problem a year ago when adding my husband to our home plan. So why can't I add our daughter. I have paid the money and am not being given the service.

Please help!

Same issue in Belfast UK. Customer service is absent.

Hey @Lyndee ,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Can you try updating the address of your Premium Family plan at https://www.spotify.com/account/family? This could be a possible workaround.

When updating it, make sure to update it to whatever address is being suggested to you after entering yours. If "Block 19" is part of the suggestion, keep it in there.

That way, it should match with the address that's seen on the page where members can accept the invite. Keep in mind that some existing members may have to re-verify their address.

Let me know how it goes. 🙂
