My Question or Issue

Hi,

I've added accounts for my children ages 8 and 5.

However, when I log into Spotify with their accounts I am unable to browse, or search for, podcasts.

Why is that?

Hey @jisi79, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

It sounds like you may be referring to the Spotify Kids app. There’s more information as to what the kid and what you, as a grownup, can do with the Spotify Kids functionality here. 

Keep in mind that there are age requirements for users to interact with the Spotify platform, if they’re not using the Spotify Kids app. You can view the full terms that reflect your region here.

I am using the regular Spotify app logging in with their accounts.

Hey there @jisi79,

Thanks for getting back to me. If you’re on a Premium Family plan as a plan’s manager, it doesn't provide you direct access to the member's account (this means you won't be able to log in through your account and manage their account details like playlists, podcasts, etc). There is more information about this here.

You can also send me a screen recording of what you’re referring to so I can take a closer look. Make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the Community.
