What happens with the 2nd account in Duo, when switching to Family?

I have the Duo membership with my husband and we want to upgrade to the Family plan so that we can include our son as well. Before changing the plan, this text appears: The other person on this plan will lose access to Premium Duo right away. Does that mean that my husband will lose access to his account? What happens with all his saved music and playlists?

Playlists, saved music, etc. are always associated with the account and have nothing to do with the current subscription 🙂 Free users can create playlists and save music as well.

 

When you upgrade from Premium Duo to Premium Family, his account will simply revert to Spotify Free.
