can i give spotify premium as a gift to include the Christmas promo?

There's a Christmas promo going on now to get 3 months of Premium for .99 then after that its 9.99 a month. I'd like to give this as a gift to our son and his wife. Can't seem to figure out how to give this as a gift. Anyone know how to manage it? Thanks!

Hey @vernab8,

There is no way to do this with a gift card, the only way to take advantage of this deal is to pay via credit card and the account that is to receive the premium cannot have had premium previously, otherwise it will cost $9.99 per month regardless.

If you would like to you can take advantage of a family plan to get a discount and add your family members (that live with you) and they will also get premium.

Thanks for your reply and for the clarification. We want to give a year of ad-free services as a Christmas gift for my 25-year old son and his wife. Considering either Spotify Premium, Pandora, or perhaps Amazon Music Unlimited. Looks like I need to do some more research. Can you recommend, in your experience, what you've found to be the best value?
