Hello. We have a family premium account, and we cannot stream from different accounts simultaneously. Each device is logged in as a different user, each a valid user underneath the premium family account. I thought that was an advantage of having a family premium account.
TIA.
Hey @spotifyme4,
That's odd.
It always works when each family member is logged into their own Spotify account. I'd recommend making sure that each member is logged into their own account one more time 🙂
Did you get this resolved? I also upgraded to family plan and added 3 family members but as soon as one of us play spotify on our own iphone and another one wants to listen to music it literally bumps me off spotify. I can't figure out how we can all play simultaneously. I am not finding any solutions to this issue. Suggestions please?
I'm having the same issue. It seems that only one family member can be on at one time - if my daughter listens, it bumps me off. I thought that was the whole point of a family membership, that each family member can listen to their music and not switch the other listener off.
Looking forward to resolving this, other wise it looks like Spotify wants everyone to have their own individual account at $9.99 a month x 3 family members rather than one family membership at half the price?
We have the same problem. How can we fix it?
We are having the same problem. Are these message boards the only way to trouble shoot? Is there anyone from the company to help us?
Recently having the same issue as everyone else. Have always had this problem with Sonos. Everytime someone is using spotify through sonos it's boots everyone else off. Spotify needs to be easier to get ahold of rather than having to search forum pages to find solutions, very annoying.
