Audiobooks with a Student Account

My Question or Issue

Does a student premium account not grant access to the recently free audiobook selection?

Thanks for reaching out. Welcome to the community!

The audiobook subscriber catalogue included with Premium is currently only available to Premium individual subscribers, as well as plan managers for Family and Duo accounts. Unfortunately, the Premium Student plan isn’t eligible for audiobook listening time.

That’s very disappointing to hear. I was under the impression that Spotify student premium and Spotify premium have all the same features just half the cost. As advertised on the Spotify website.

I cant listen to any audiobooks including books that used to be unlocked. I waited several months bc i heard u get 20hrs per month. Please help me, tbh it feels like I’m being scammed.

Absolute bs. Students should have audiobooks FREE. Let education be included in the student Spotify… No where online did it say that it wasn’t included. It says 16 hours of listening to audiobooks with premium. Pathetic.

Your local library offers free audiobooks! Free, or paid for by YOUR tax dollars. You can use your library card with apps like Libby and Hoopla to get audiobooks and ebooks. Libraries rule!
