Trying to add student premium to my account and it keeps looping back to the same page.
Verified on SheerID; received email saying it was verified & clicked the link in the email. Spotify opens & shows my account logged in & I confirm that I want to apply it to that account. The next screen that opens is the /account/overview page that I linked above.
I press manage subscription menu button, opens page showing that I have a cancelled premium subscription & asks if I'd like to get the discount for the student premium *select get discount* and loops back to /account/overview page.
I also tried it through the premium subscription button at the top of that /account/overview page & it leads down a similar route of selecting Get Discount for student premium & goes back to the /account/overview page.
I tried it on mobile, incognito mobile, desktop, incognito desktop... both cellular and wifi. 😕

Hello! I have an issue with the Premium Student abbonement. I just verified thats I am a student at an University and wanted to get the Student Premium abonnement. But as I'm trying to select the plan it keeps sending me into a constant loop between the two websites of "selecting an abonnement plan" and the website that tells me that I am verified as a student until the 11.09.2025. Is this an error or why do I not get the option of paying?

I was trying to opt for student plan and my student ID is verified too but when I start click on choose plan instead of showing me the student plan @59, It takes me to home page again showing other plans. How do I resolve plan?
Same issue for me. Tried different devices, logging out, using the link from the email, signing up for regular premium and then changing to student. Nothing works. And this is a terrible way to handle customer support.
I am trying to renew . But after choosing the student plan it is taking me back to student/verification page again asks to select a plan …

I was able to find their chat support and they fixed it for me.
as of today its still not fixed **bleep**.😂
this is happening to me too, I had canceled it so i could make the Hulu work and now it just tells me "Your student status is verified for a year. We’ll remind you to verify it again a month before it expires. Next, choose your plan and get Premium for Students." but if I click premium student it won't let me rejoin. did you find a solution?
Hi there! As many have previously stated, when I press the "try free for 3 months" button in the student section, I am redirected to a page that says " you're verified as a student until 9/10/2025". On the bottom of said page there's a button to "Choose your plan", that, when pressed, just redirects me to the main spotify premium page, starting a loop. Can you please help me, and the countless others who are having this problem, or are you just going to keep ignoring our issue?

i’m having the same issue.
I'm having this issue too in Canada. I am verified and it tells me to choose my plan but it just brings me back to all the options for premium. If I click the option for student plan it just tells me I'm verified again. It's a loop. I didn't have a problem in the past. I have try logging in with incognito and on separate devices, yet the problem is the same.
Yep, still not fixed! 😔 Have tried Chrome, different browsers, Android app, incognito, nothing works. Just stuck in the endless loop of choosing student plan.
yep same here, it's been an issue for months it seems and they keep saying it's fixed but it's not. I've had to go with Apple in the meantime 🙃

This issue is happening to me as well, has not been fixed. It just keeps looping to all the plans.
Issue continues to persist. It just keeps looping back to all the plans and it tells me I am eligible for the student discount, but every time I select it, it just says I am eligible but will not let me purchase.
