My Question or Issue

Spotify released student plan in Bosnia and Herzegovina today (Oct 1, 2025) but there is a bug. 

After you verify your student status and pick the student plan, you get stuck in a “repeating” situation. When you choose student plan you get redirected to the site saying “Your student status is verified until xx date” and when you click “choose plan”, instead of being redirected to the checkout, you are once again redirected to the initial site where you’re supposed to pick a plan. And it keeps repeating and you can’t get to checkout.

I’m having the exact same issue in Bosnia. 
I verified my enrollment status today when Spotify launched the student plan here but can’t subscribe.

Could you check if you're able to proceed further by using this link instead? 

 

If the issue persists, try using an incognito window or another browser/device (a PC, for example). In case you're using a VPN, I'd suggest disabling it temporarily.

It worked for me too, i switched from a duo account to a student premium but i am afraid if there is a chance that i will be paying for two premium. Does this image say that basically after this month ends it will automatically switch to a student acc?

Hey @dinolinjo,

 

That's a reasonable question! However, what you've said is true, so no need to worry in that regard 🙂
The Duo plan will remain active until the switch date, after which you will only be paying for the Student plan, as shown in the screenshot.

Im on the premium student plan only for a year, I've received email saying I need to renew it, but when i press on the link this is what it says:

" You're verified as a student until:

<snip - Moderator Edit>

You can renew your discount then if you're still a student, up to a maximum of 4 years.

Remember, if you don't verify that you're a student at the end of your discount period, you'll lose your discount. If you're a Premium for Students subscriber, you'll be charged the normal Spotify Premium price until you cancel." and then a button saying "back to the music"

 

I have tried to log in, go to subscriptions, go incognito, tried to re do a premium account but it says the same thing, tried on laptop and iphone all updated to the newest software - please help?

I’m still having issues with it. It’s an endless loop. 

I'm still having this issue as well. Can you please help with converting from a current premium individual plan to a student premium plan? Every time I confirm my account details, it brings me back to the account settings. Also, I would go to this link and the student discount plan wouldn't show up in checkout.
