Trying to add student premium to my account and it keeps looping back to the same page.
Verified on SheerID; received email saying it was verified & clicked the link in the email. Spotify opens & shows my account logged in & I confirm that I want to apply it to that account. The next screen that opens is the /account/overview page that I linked above.
I press manage subscription menu button, opens page showing that I have a cancelled premium subscription & asks if I'd like to get the discount for the student premium *select get discount* and loops back to /account/overview page.
I also tried it through the premium subscription button at the top of that /account/overview page & it leads down a similar route of selecting Get Discount for student premium & goes back to the /account/overview page.
I tried it on mobile, incognito mobile, desktop, incognito desktop... both cellular and wifi. 😕

I’m having this same issue. Very frustrating that it seems like they make it harder and harder to stay on this side and not switch over to Apple Music, which I am HEAVILY considering.

Also having this problem, it just sends me back and forth on an endless loop and I cannot use my student discount for premium! 😞
I am verified through sheerID. I originally had premium- but received a new credit card so the Spotify plan went from premium to free. I am now a student so I wanted to use my student plan, and now I have been verified through SheerID. But I am still taken through this feedback loop of webpages. Even when I try the link used above.

I have the same issue as the original sender. I tried your link and the issue keeps happening. I go to click 'get started' and it sends me to a page saying "choose your plan" and its a constant loop of these two pages. I'm using a debit card as a payment method and when I go to subscribe to any other subscription it works and moves me on to the billing page. I'm not sure why the student plan wont let me move forward. I've been approved for a full year. I originally had a duo plan but it was completely canceled a couple days ago.
Solved the issue.
First purchase a Spotify individual Plan.
Then, on a web browser
1. Click your profile picture
2. Click account
3. Under the subscriptions box, select "available plans"
4. scroll down to the student plan and select it.
5. It will still say you have Spotify individual, but the student discount will be applied and will now only cost $5.99
So pay twice??
Same here. I've been trying to figure this out for a couple days and I've got nothing. My subscription ran out a month ago and I got my account verified for student premium again but now I just get stuck in the loop from 'choose your plan' to 'get started' back to 'choose your plan' and on and on. Please help I need my music 😞

There was a temporary issue which should now be resolved. Could you give it another try to see if everything works well now? You can also try in an incognito/private window, or with another browser/device.

This kept happening to me and I finally figured out how to fix it!
Once I got verified and it sent me back to the account page I went through available plans and clicked on the student plan. On that page there was a spot that said "update plan" so I did that and it finally worked! I hope that helps!

I have been verified for the student premium plan but it won’t work. When I click it it just keep coming that I have been verified as a student till September. Any other plan that I have tried, allows me to pay but the student one.
Having the same issue, but instead of renewing, I'm trying to get the plan for the first time.
Only having this problem with the Student Premium, other premium plans works completely fine. I say this is completely foul play
