I joined the free version of Spotify so that I can listen to the Strike Force Five podcast. It seems like Spotify has some decent choices ... I'm looking forward to searching their audio books. But I'm a YouTube premium subscriber and I enjoy their comments section so I'm not sure how much I'll listen to Spotify specifically because they don't provide a comments section. That's why I like YouTube because it's also a social network for specific videos, podcasts, etc. Not a general community area.

Use the “Podcast Discussion” chat channel and turn it into a respectful discussion area instead of the cesspool of misplaced complaints and garbage it currently is. Be the change, brother.
