Invite or remove Duo plan members

The plan manager can invite or remove members on their Duo page.

1. Go to your account page.
2. Select Spotify Premium Duo in the menu on the left.
3. Under People on this plan, select the option to invite or remove someone.

Log in to invite or remove members

Invited members get a link to join, where they need to:

• Log in to (or sign up for) their own account
• Confirm their full address

Note: You're only allowed to change Duo plans once a year.

Invite opened on the wrong account?

If you’re using the same device, make sure the plan manager logs out before anyone opens an invite link.

Invited members need to log in to (or sign up for) their own account to join.

Link expired?

Try opening the link in an incognito/private window of your web browser.

If that doesn’t work, ask the plan’s manager to send you a new invite.

Maybe you can prepay, for a year, by getting a hold of Spotify directly, if you have the e-mail address that he used. That might be better than having it connected to your account, then having to deal with the weirdness coming from having to remove him from your account.
