After more than a decade, I'm leaving this platform.

I'm tired of being treated like garbage. This company can't even keep its desktop app properly updated anymore.

They pay artists next to nothing, and in my view they've become part of the moral and intellectual decline we're witnessing across society.

A music streaming company that reportedly turns to AI-generated music to avoid paying even the tiny royalties independent artists receive, while its leadership invests in companies developing AI for military applications.

That's the ultimate contradiction, a company that builds its brand around art while contributing to the erosion of art itself and profiting from technologies of destruction and control.

I won't be part of it anymore. I hope more customers wake up to what's happening, and I hope Spotify goes bankrupt.
