Do not understand how we are getting the same product but yet ANOTHER price increase just NEEDS to happen??? Would very much appreciate an actual breakdown of WHY and how this increase will be utilized instead of the excuse of “best experience” blah blah blah we are sent in the email. Tell me the reason you need more money from us and then maybe I won’t be so insanely frustrated.
100% - really looks bad. No price, no date of increase, had to search other sites for details also.
Removed value, in fact, given the gutting of radio features. I don't get how you can remove features, then increase a service price.
The subject is pretty obvious. We're tired of being taken advantage of a service that we're fond of. I, for example, have the Premium Duo Plan. It was originally 12.99 when I first started paying. Now it's 14.99, an entire 2 dollar increase in price (not including the taxes), and now you're planning on increasing the prices even more soon? It feels more like you're trying push away your "fanbase" rather than actually help them.

There was an increase in price less than a year ago. Why do you keep taking the price up? There’s no way it’s been that drastic of a change requiring these constant increases in such a short time span. At this rate, people might as well pay for Apple Music. You may want to consider that you’re most likely going to lose customers to other platforms that have far greater varieties of musical choices if we keep on. Ijs….

I hope you can afford even one CD a month with Spotify Individual cancellation.
Honestly the competition may be lower in price, just to get customers, and price increase after that. Not worth my time, especially when Spotify Premium is still selling at 10 € month buying Gift cards from local chain stores.
I am furious, it feels like it has happend too often over the past couple of years. I am seriously considering cancelling and going to youtube premium, you get youtube music on top of everything else. I am done with this app.

"Innovation" nonsense is the reason given, what a joke.
The DJ is awful, and I don't want my price to keep going up to pay for Audio Book or podcasts.
We are here for MUSIC and only MUSIC.
If Spotify insists on "innovating" how about focusing on actually making the MUSIC better, like matching or beating the quality of your competitors. Being priced now like the higher quality competitors this is now a real issue that needs to be addressed. This current price hike is making me pay for more to receive less.

Spotify Community is a place for Spotify users to come together and share music ideas, songs, and playlists with each other. It's mainly a "place for discussions and exchange of information, tips, and other materials related to the Spotify Service" (Spotify.com), so Spotify employees will not check the website for any requests for changes. However, the Ideate section allows you to develop an idea and have other users vote for it. If it gets enough votes, the Spotify Community Legends and Stars can possibly bring it up to the higher-ups and then a proper decision is made.
