People should have the option to either clear/reset the recently, or disable it. Just a suggestion 😀

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

 

There are a few Live Ideas in the Idea Exchange of the Spotify Community that are similar to your suggestion:

 

  • This Live Idea for removing items from Recently played
  • This Live Idea for customizing the Home screen to one’s personal preferences
  • This Live Idea for resetting the Recently played artists on one’s Spotify profile

If any of these ideas are something you’re interested in, I would recommend adding your +VOTE to them; the more votes an idea gets, the likelier it is that Spotify will implement it, and you can read more about how feedback on Ideas reaches Spotify here.
