Similar app without content recommendations

Video content and inappropriate podcast suggestions are ruining Spotify for my family. Spotify kids is too restrictive and won't work on most of the devices in our house and cars. We have made a separate account in our family for our 9 year old's devices and the car. When I get in the car or open it in the Spotify app I'm hit with a barrage of weird anime daddy issue "episodes" and "video episodes". I've gone back in her listening history and there's nothing to encourage the themes of these. She listens to. Broad range of music and pretty much just one kids podcast. We only want to use Spotify for music and professional audio podcasts. It's been diluted to the point of being dangerous. I've clicked on one of the gross episodes to see if I could block that content creator but there are no options to. Why is Spotify becoming such a landfill of garbage content?

Has anyone found a better solution? I'm thinking of going to Apple Music but need to check its compatibility with a few things. What a waste of a great service Spotify has become.
