Spotify subscription increase

Is anyone else a little upset at the fact that loyal long term subscribers' subscription fees go up rather than reduce? Is there no reward for loyalty in these times?

Yes. I've had 3 increases for premium family in the last 2.5 years, rising more than 47% over that period - what the heck?! Seems excessive. I asked support and received the canned response - "As we continue to grow our platform, we are updating our Premium prices, so that we can keep innovating in changing market conditions. These updates will help us continue delivering value to fans." I haven't seen much of that added value...

How you get these increases? Never seen one.

I've been running Spotify Premium at 9,99 a month (in EURO) for years. I just go to local R-kioski chain and buy 6 months for 60 euros. You can redeem 18 months, aka three of these cards at 10 euros a month price point. I always top my account when 6 months are free to add (at 12 months or less). So you'll always get a discount going long.

In case they change something in gift system. This only works for Premium Individual and may not be selling in your country.

I've seen these cards as well in Germany when traveling near Neuss city at Saturn shop chain.
