Today I quit Spotify.

I just quit Spotify.
Twice today I was listening to my own playslists and Spotify inserts recommendations in the middle of them.

I don't have Enhanced or continuous playing active.

I have been a paying family customer for years. I have been on Spotify since 2008. I have almost 600 plus playlists, som with thousands of songs carefully organised that I can't even save to a usable format for archiving.

And then Spotify stopped paying small artists I have been trying to support, many that don't have more than 1000 plays a month and now don't get paid. And still Taylor Swift gets my money and despite I never listened to her and I get unsolicited promotion for her back.

But today I realized that Spotify hates us. Even us paying customers. So I'm not paying anymore. And I'll only keep my account until I can get my most cherished playlists taken out somehow.
