iOS connecting accounts

I have a plan with my husband on Spotify and I use an iOS and he uses a Samsung. My iOS is on a network with my mother so we all have the same phone plan essentially. Well my brother recently got Spotify and his account has been randomly logged in on my phone. All I have to do it log out and log back into my account but it’s really inconvenient and kind of violating his and my privacy because as far as I know he can see mine too. I’m not sure how to get it to stop doing that, I think what’s happening is when he logs in it automatically logs in on my phone too. But we have completely separate phone numbers, plans, devices. I’m not sure what the solution would be???

I'd first ensure he isn't signed into your account and vice versa. Here are a few tips when this arises again:

• Logout and log back into your account when this occurs.
• Confirm both you and your brother are using the correct accounts on your respective devices.
• Consider changing your Spotify password for added security.
• Check and remove any unfamiliar devices in your Spotify account settings.
• Ensure your Wi-Fi network is secure, as network issues may contribute to the problem.

Facebook connected accounts can sometimes play a factor in this too, maybe check to see that you aren't both signed in that way. You can do this in your Login Methods: https://www.spotify.com/account/login-methods/
