Account password is changed when connected to Spotify account for long period.

Hey. 

 

Our app creates public playlists which are hosted on a central Spotify account (part of a workaround for the issue of apps connected to Spotify going into the background introduced by the new SDK). 

 

We are connecting to this account using the authorization code flow. 

 

After using this account for around a week, the password is changed and the password recovery email stops working.

 

Do you know why this could happen? Is there a limit to the number of allowed refresh token uses, the number of logins in a period or the number of playlists added / removed from an account during a period?

 

Alternatively, is there a less hacky way to generate public playlists on Spotify?
