Add User Equalizer Presets to Web API?

My Question or Issue

I want to make a spotify clone web app, but change it such that whenever you play a track, it tries to match the genre with the best equalizer preset in user settings and updates the user settings before the track starts playing. 

Would love for an API call to be added that could update a user's equalizer preset settings!
