For a Windows 11 user, this instruction implies running the command using the "Terminal" application, which is actually powershell. The command runs with no errors but produces a base64 string that includes a carriage return and line feed at the end, which in turn causes the rest of the steps to fail. It might be improved by specifying which terminal window is intended. I am guessing it is Bash.

Open a terminal window and run the command shown below. In this command, replace <CLIENT_ID> and <CLIENT_SECRET> with your real client ID and secret. Save the output for Step 5.
