Authorization code provided by Spotify is 'invalid'

This has suddenly stopped working for me.

I get the 'authorization code' using the Spotify API but when I try to use this code to get the access and refresh codes I get told the authorization code I was just given is invalid. I have tried getting it through code and also pasting it in manually and get the same error both times. 

As I understand it, this won't be solved by using the refresh code because that only refreshes the access code, not the authorization code.

I had this working before. 

Any one had this before or have any ideas?
