Change tempo of the music

I need to change the tempo of the playing music. While seeing the documentation I couldn't find any API for changing playing speed. Is it possible to change the tempo? if possible what is the API for changing the tempo.
 
Recently I saw the tempo and pitch change for Spotify songs in Amazing Slow Downer iOS App. I am wondering how they could achieve that 🤔

There's a good chance they rip the audio. But i don't recommend that since it's against tos.
