My Question or Issue

Hello Spotify Developer Team,

We are developing a public web application using the Spotify Web API and the Web Playback SDK. Before publishing the application, we want to ensure that we fully comply with Spotify’s Developer Terms and policies.

We would like clarification on the following:

1. Is it permitted to publish a public (commercial or non-commercial) web application that integrates the Spotify Web API and Web Playback SDK?

2. Is it mandatory for each end user to log in with their own Spotify account (Premium) for playback functionality?

3. During development, one of our team members has been using their personal Spotify Premium account along with the application's Client ID and Client Secret. If we publish the app publicly, is it acceptable to continue using that account for playback, or must each user authenticate individually?
