Current song playing endpoint returning null

Current song playing endpoint returning null

Hi! Ive made an app that requires people to authenticate with spotify and then that allows my app to fetch their currently playing song. The problem I have is that whenever I fetch a user's currently playing song, all fields return as null. I am confused as to why this happens because I have them authorizing with the correct scope and it works for my account, but only my account it seems.

Gotcha, so i need to send a request to upgrade to extended quota mode? I added a few people to my allow list and it works for a few hours until it just stops working again. Is this a problem on my end? I am refreshing their tokens properly I think.

Honestly I don't know why it works only for a few hours. The reason couldn't be a rate limit, and also no expired token; else you would get an error.
