Hello Developer Team,

I’m posting to seek some further clarity regarding the ongoing issue with creating new apps in the Spotify Developer Dashboard.

Although there has been a comment indicating that this issue is now “solved,” from our perspective this does not appear to be the case. The information provided so far has been quite vague, and many of us are still unable to create apps successfully. As a result, it’s difficult to understand what has actually changed or what steps (if any) we should be taking.

This issue has now been ongoing for over a month, and for those of us who rely on Spotify’s developer tools for active integrations, this has had a significant impact. Many developers, myself included , are paying subscribers, and while we appreciate that issues can take time to resolve, it would be reasonable to expect clearer communication in return.

At the very least, it would be extremely helpful to have:

• Confirmation on whether this issue is truly resolved or still ongoing

• Clear guidance on the current status

• A realistic ETA for when full functionality (specifically app creation) will be restored

At the moment, the lack of concrete updates makes it difficult to plan or maintain integrations, and the responses provided so far don’t feel sufficient given the length of time this has been unresolved.

We value the platform and want to continue building with Spotify, but clearer and more transparent communication here would go a long way.

+1 on this. The issue doesn’t seem resolved many of us still can’t create new apps in the Developer Dashboard. It’s been over a month, and the lack of clear status updates or an ETA makes it hard to plan or maintain integrations. Any concrete update would be appreciated.
