Followers/Market

Followers/Market

I have been trying to get followers of an artist from different markets or countries. In return i get always the same numbers of followers, no matter how market or country i set as parameter, it always get the same value as return. That parameter doesn´t work.  Is anyone facing the same issue?

The Get Artist endpoint doesn't have a market parameter(?).

it has but doesn´t work. The numbers of followers dont  change as you change the parameter to different markets. If an artist has 100k followers, you can not figure out how many followers it has got for instance in Portugal or Spain or Brasil, it always returns the same value 100k.

Please look again at this page, and copy the text of where you see "markt".

Sorry, im talking about the endpoint "Search for item". There´s a market parameter, if you search for numbers of followers of an artist, it always returns the same value, no matter what parameter you set.

You can use the market parameter of the Search for item endpoint to filter out tracks that cannot be played in the specified market, and not for the followers count. The Get artist(s) endpoint doesn't support this, so doesn't the search endpoint.
