I am developing a practice using Spotify's API in SwiftUI. However, the API is unable to authenticate and returns only INVALID_CLIENT: Invalid redirect URI. However, the ClientID and RedirectURL match. If I set the ID and URL of the project I used before, it succeeds. This is a mystery. How do you resolve the symptom?

Hi @Iccyan21
Thank you for posting in the Spotify Community, and Welcome!
It could be that your app is (still) using the wrong redirect URI. You can check this by copying the URL from the INVALID_CLIENT page from your browser, and decoding it using a tool like URL Decoder/Encoder.
Let me know how it goes.
@Ximzend, the problem seems to be with the changes they implemented on April 9 (https://developer.spotify.com/blog/2025-02-12-increasing-the-security-requirements-for-integrating-w...). If you try the Demo apps they have in the GitHub repo of the iOS SDK, they are not working with newly created apps. They only works with apps created before 9 of April.
Yes, that's right. I've been looking into it and that API bug seems to be the right one. I also tried the tutorial in the official documentation and got the same error. I hope it will be fixed soon.
I checked and the dashboard and iOS URLs match perfectly. I checked and it seems that the bug in that API is correct. I also tried the tutorial in the official documentation and got the same error. If you have time please try the iOS d docs. I get the same error.

I've reported this issue to the Spotify Team, and it is under investigation.
Teve alguma resolução esse erro ?
has it been resolved yet ?
I am still getting invalid Clinet ID : rediect uri
I recommend you to perform a clean reinstall of the app, ass described on this page.
If that on it's own does not help, you can try to change the proxy type to "No proxy". You can do this by clicking Settings → Proxy type: No proxy → Restart App
