Independent Developer Request for Guidance

My name is Rhys Kavanagh, and I’m a 16 year old independent iOS developer from Ireland. Over the past several months, I’ve been building a social music app called Musica.
The goal of Musica is to help people discover music together, share what they’re listening to, create groups with friends, and make music feel more social. I’m trying to build the app in a way that respects artists, users, and Spotify’s platform policies.
While looking into Spotify integration, I came across the commercial access requirements. I completely understand why these requirements exist, but as an independent developer who is just starting out, I’m not yet able to meet criteria such as being an established company or having hundreds of thousands of monthly active users.
I’m writing to ask if there is a recommended path for developers like me. Is there any way for independent developers or small startups to begin building with Spotify while growing their products, or is there another developer program that would be more appropriate for a project at my stage?
I’m not asking for special treatment or for the rules to be changed. I simply want to build Musica the right way and understand what steps I should take to become eligible in the future.
