Integrate Spotify Player into Python app

Hey,

I'd like to build a car radio based on a Raspberry Pi (3B+). For that I want to write my own Python GUI in which I want to integrate a Spotify Player. I want to acess all my Playlists and Songs and make them avaible offline. Is this even possible with the Spotify API and how much Python and other languages do I have to know for that?

I know I could just download the spotify app, but I'd like to try it myself.

You are able to do this using our web api for fetching your content and web playback api for playing songs. However, we don't offer offline access to our api's data.

The amount of knowledge on your preferred programming language depends on how far you'd like to go 🙂
