My Question or Issue

I’d like to allow users to play music snippets from my app, using the Spotify API. What I mean by this is: let’s say a song is 4 minutes long. The user’s favourite part is from 2:04-3:41. Using my app, the user would input the start and end time of their favourite part in a song, and we’d play just that part of the song for them. Is an application such as this, acceptable under the Spotify API guidelines?
