Quota extension for University Research Project

For my thesis (of the Master Computer Science at KU Leuven) I am working on an application (a group recommender system) using the Spotify API.

For my user study I need 80 participants to use the app. This requires a quota extension. Does anyone have experience with this? Any help about how to do this is very welcome (e.g. what kind of quota extension to ask, personal/organization, how to provide the link to a testable app as they ask, ...)

I have to disappoint you, because after clicking Request Extension, you can read, “Have a use case that onboard a significant user-base. Please note that we will not grant a quota extension for home automation, school, or hobby projects.”
