My Question or Issue:

I am a student developer in Taiwan currently participating in
Red Bull Basement 2026, an international student innovation
competition organized by Red Bull.

I am developing a music-focused application as my competition
entry, designed to encourage deeper and more intentional music
listening, and to help users discover independent artists.

Spotify's Web API is a key dependency for the project's core
functionality. Unfortunately, I have been unable to register
a developer application since the Create App button has been
unavailable since February 2026.

Given my competition timeline, I would greatly appreciate any
guidance on how to proceed — whether through early access, an
alternative registration path, or a point of contact who
handles academic and competition use cases.

I am happy to provide any documentation required.
