Request to Enable Access to Audio Features and Audio Analysis Endpoints for New Spotify App

Hello Spotify Support Team,

I’m developing a non-commercial educational project called MyMusicMind that analyzes user listening behavior and provides insights and recommendations. This project relies on the Spotify API for accessing detailed music data.

I registered my Spotify app in May 2025. I’m using the Client Credentials Flow with Spotipy, and although the credentials are correct, I receive a 403 Forbidden error when trying to access the /v1/audio-features endpoint.

I understand that apps created after November 27, 2024 fall under updated access restrictions and do not have default access to the /v1/audio-features and /v1/audio-analysis endpoints. Since these endpoints are essential for my project’s functionality, I kindly request that access to them be enabled for my app.

I am developing a personal non-commercial music recommendation system as part of my educational project. This system aims to analyze audio features of tracks to provide better music suggestions based on detailed song attributes such as danceability, loudness, energy, and tempo.

I have registered my Spotify application recently and I am currently using the Client Credentials Flow with the Spotipy library. However, I am facing a 403 Forbidden error when trying to access the /v1/audio-features endpoint.
