Shared likes feature development?

Not a help request, just a query Please delete if needed. 

The query was relating to interest in a feature. Wondering if a public like button could be a pathway to greater  collaborative engagement? A public like function whereby the user simply taps an icon (e.g., multi heart radiating) which is logged as an interaction with an associated song. 

Users' most recent likes can be displayed between friends depending on privacy. This is displayed as a multiheart icon with the associated user profile picture and album art/playlist cover photo.

2-3 of these icons might be scattered across the the display and can be swiped away (much like the Instagram reels format). Tapping any icons takes the user to their friend's playlist/the relevant album. The specific song liked by the friend user is highlighted when being viewed by the other friend user.

Additionally, the displayed likes could be prioritized based on similarities between friends' overlapping listening histories to build greater shared engagement.

Interested to know if would be straight forward to integrate?
